My feeders attract to many chippies.mice, how do i keep the 4 legged away?

also, how do I get rid of the moles/shrews, I tried dirty cat ltter , poisin, no luck, I really want to get rid of themMy feeders attract to many chippies.mice, how do i keep the 4 legged away?
I keep my feeders suspended on wires from the aviary roof. Seems to stop the mice.
