Loneliness in Of Mice and Men?

Im writing an essay about loneliness in of mice and men. I have an idea where i want to start but i dont know where i am going to go from there. I am going to talk about Candy Crooks and Curlys Wife but im not sure what im going to talk about for each person. If anybody that has done an essay like this can you help me come up with points to talk aboutLoneliness in Of Mice and Men?
First: define what lonliness is.

Second: state the character you intend to describe as being lonely- who is he/she, what part does he/she play in the story?

Third: what makes that person fit the description of being lonely. How do you know that person is actually lonely? There is a difference between being alone and being lonely and one can be lonely even amongst a million people.

Why is Crooks (Candy is a separate character, the old white man who lost his dog- please reread the book, it's not long) lonely?

Why is Curly's wife lonely?

Provide details from what you observe from the characters or from what they say.Loneliness in Of Mice and Men?
Candy is lonely because his dog always kept him company, and then they took that away from him. So then, he goes to George and Lennie and wants to join the farm to fill that void.

The wife is lonely because although she has a husband, he doesn't fulfill her emotional needs and doesn't treat her right.

Crooks is lonely because he is the only black man. He is a aslave to them, and no one sees him as an equal
