Do mice stink even if you clean their cage onc a week.?

also can they eat hamster food.?Do mice stink even if you clean their cage onc a week.?
I wouldnt say they stink. They have a natural odour yes, but to me they and their cages actually smell better than rats. I suppose that comes down to the individual person though.

Also if you have males, keep a section of the old bedding to place back in when you clean, it stops him going around spraying madly to get his scent back in the clean cage.Do mice stink even if you clean their cage onc a week.?
Not always.

I have some very nice bucks (males) who do not spray and do not stink at all.

I have some does who smell horrible.

Diet affects the smell too. If there is alfalfa in the hamster food you should not feed it to mice, their digestive systems do not do alfalfa nicely and you will smell it as well as them getting the runs.

You can have more than one male together if they were together when you got them. Females are just as hard as males to introduce when they are strangers.
Depends on the type of mouse, if you get African Spiny Mice they smell no different then gerbils or hamsters do. However if you get Fancy mice they have a natural odour that is quite strong, female fancy mice aren't as bad, but the males are 5X worse, so defiantly go with females. Remember mice need to be in pairs too. Cleaning the cage will defiantly help a lot though!! You can feed mice hamster food, it is very similar, mouse just has more smaller seeds!!!
I've never owned mice before, but with any animal, you'll need to clean the cage as often as needed to keep the smell down to a minimum. I have heard that mice do smell quite a bit. You may be able to clean out the cage once a week without the smell being too bad, but if not, you may want to try twice a week.

I would say no to the hamster food. Just get some mouse food.
Hamster food lacks some vitamins needed by mice. Males stink a lot more than females but you can only have one male to a cage and you need at least 2 females in a cage so it matters how many there are. I had 7 females in a cage and they didnt stink.
yes. They stink no matter how often you clean their cages. The best you can do is spray some feebrez or something like that, as long as it doesn't harm mice.
yes there f***ing mice.
depends on the rat
