in a way yes...this is before he would have been found incompatent and the angry mob would have coused him more tourment. yes he killed people, but not because he was evil but because and not because he didn't know it was bad but because he didn't really understand what he was doing would leave to their death. he would pet the mouse to hard not realizng it was that that killed therefore being able to not do it again....he knew he did it but not really how, he knew it was from petting to hard but he really couldn't comprehend how to do it softer nor control that.... and even if he were put in home or mental hospital, and after he killed a person (the woman i can't remember her nam) that is what would be nessisary. but at that time those were the most horrific places to be...not like they are today...for lennie who had cognitive thought and barley understood action vs. consiquense and wasn't really crazy just slow it would havebeen a fate worse then death.


that and george knows the mob would have done it..but they would not have been as nice about it because they saw him as a monster not some one who was slow. lennie didn't deserve what the moob would have done to him, and the loony bins they had at that time weren't great...there may have been a chance that he could have been sentenced to death if put through the system...that at the time was not understanding.

yes he was right for doing what he head 2 do. It was hard for him 2 that but he knew deep inside that it was right.....that's the best movie and book it just came on last night
well lennie was killing people, and it was for the best. George was being a good friend.
i LOVE THAT BOOK SAW THE MOVIE TOO BUT BOOK IS BETTER I THINK IT WAS RIGHT TO SAVE HIM FROM THE PAIN AND PUNISHMENT THAT WOULD HAVE KILLED HIM ANYWAYS BUT DON'T THINK I COULD HAVE DONE THAT. MERCY KILLINGS LIKE DR KEVORKIAN NO CAPITAL PUNISHMENT YES IT IS THE BEST DETERRENT
