My language arts teacher gave us the assingment to present a mock trial for the book of mice and men. I am on the defense side and supposed to give an opening statement for George Milton. He is being charged for first degree murder. And i have been gone the week they started doing it so i have not a clue what to do.Mock trial opening statement for ';of mice and men';.?
well in your opening statement you want to just get the main ideas that would prove George Milton didn't murder him... Sorry, i dont remember too well the plot, but you might want to say. George didn't do it out of rage, he did it out of love for his best freind lenny (sorry im not sure if i got the characters right, but lenny, i think, was the dude who liked soft things, and sho snapped that ladys neck, right? and george was the dude that went around with lenny?)
