Curly's dream is to be a man's man. He hates that he is small and is only successful because of his father. .He has low self esteem. He thinks being with a beautiful woman makes him more of a man. She only forces him to see himself as the failure he really thinks he is. Curly chose badly when he married a materialistic narcissist. He just wants to be accepted as a man. What he doesnt realize is that a true man is accepted for who he is, not who he thinks he needs to be.
