Are mice from pet stores inbred and if yes i do i change that?

Not in all cases, managing my mammal section at the pet store i work for i know that none of my mice are ever in-bred. I even refuse sale to people wanting 2 mice (one of each sex) for breeding as the two litter mates would obviously be related and in-breeding is inhumane to both the mother and her babies.

If you are concerned speak to a member of staff or try mouse forums where you can contact local breeders who will have records of which mice have been bred with each other.

Hope this helps xAre mice from pet stores inbred and if yes i do i change that?
Yes. i mean, not all of them, but yes. The ones from breeders that are all fancy may not be as inbred, IF you get them from the breeder, but from a pet shop, I'd say it's inbred.

Nothing you can do because most rights-groups have bigger fish to fry, and because people exploiting animals for money don't have any soul and can't be reasoned with :(

I'm not religious, but may they roast in hell anyway XDAre mice from pet stores inbred and if yes i do i change that?
Yeah, they are. Pet stores usually breed them to make more cash off of them. There's really no way to change it. And sometimes their mice are all sickly, cuz they're just breed to be fed to snakes. I think it's wrong, but can't change it.
You could get a pair, each from a different location and introduce them to each other. That should be a fairly safe bet.
Most likely...not much you can do.
